WHAT IS PHYSIOTHERAPY?
Physiotherapy is a form of medical treatment that aims to reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore physical function in people with health conditions or injuries. It is also known as physical therapy or physical rehabilitation.
Physiotherapy can include a range of techniques and exercises, such as muscle strengthening exercises, stretching, massage, relaxation techniques, electrotherapy, manual therapy, ultrasound and heat therapy.
WHAT IS GLOBAL POSTURAL REEDUCATION?
Global postural rehabilitation (GPR) combined with manual therapy is a physiotherapy approach that aims to work on imbalances in the muscle chains that can cause pain. This approach consists of reducing and eliminating pain, as well as increasing muscle flexibility to improve joint mobility and consequently posture.

During the session, techniques of joint mobilization and mobilization of the myofascial system, breathing exercises and gradual and prolonged stretching are performed in different positions adapted to each individual. After the meeting, an exercise program is recommended at home.
